Company History

Modern Learning Solutions was birthed by two friends, Hilary Mushamuviri and Graham Chabvamupero. This was a result of the need they saw in Ruwa, that there was no efficient internet café not only that but also lacked a centre that provided individual computer training. The company was first established in May 2013 as Communications Centre and was later changed to Modern Learning Solutions in 2017.

"When we started the company, our passion was to have a computer in the hands of every child in the country..."

Over the years

In 2013 we provided internet, computer and printing services. In 2014 we added graphics designing and large format printing.

In 2015, we began a new project in preschools titled, “computer literate generation from the grassroots”. Our aim was to develop computer skills in pupils while at a tender age. We worked with more 50 preschools and we cover areas like Ruwa, Zimre Park, Damofalls, Mutare and Zvishavane. In the same year, we began another project in primary and high schools titled, “Every child a computer”, this was an initiative which was to help increase the use of computers in schools. We worked with 10 schools in the year.

In 2016 we introduced ICT workshops and training that would target teachers to help them keep up with the fast-paced technology.

In 2017 we came up with several products and services including Interactive whiteboard, Modern Academy Software and code village.
